What makes a wedding DJ great? A wedding DJ has to be fully invested in their craft. Being a wedding DJ has a lot of responsibilities and pressure for the big day. Some people just think a wedding DJ plays songs, but there is a lot more to it. A wedding DJ needs to be fully invested in himself, his clients, and the big day. 

There is a lot that goes into planning a wedding. One of the big choices that you have to make is a wedding DJ. Picking the right one is a hard decision. As such, it is important to know what DJ is fully invested. 

One might ask what does a DJ need to be fully invested in? To start, a DJ needs to first be fully invested in himself. A DJ needs to make a large investment into equipment. This may seem obvious, however, equipment can vary depending on the type, make, style, and brand. The more a DJ invests in his equipment, the better the sound quality and the better the event and day turns out. If a DJ isn't ready to truly invest in himself, he isn't up to the DJing task. If a DJ isn't taking courses and learning what is new in the field they aren't going to be the best of the best. 

A wedding DJ also needs to invest in their clients. When a client chooses a wedding DJ it isn't an easy decision. A wedding DJ runs the whole day, and it can't skip a beat. The wedding DJ also creates the energy and atmosphere of the big day. This means that the DJ needs to meet and spend time with his or her clients. The DJ needs to get to know what they are looking for, what they want the day to feel like, and how they want the day to flow. If a wedding DJ is not adequately taking the time, energy, and investment in their clients, they are not ready to be a great DJ. 

Finally, the wedding DJ needs to invest in the big wedding Day. A DJ needs to prepare, take time, and be organized for the big day. They need to have the play list, the energy, and excitement ready for the day to be a success.  A DJ needs to know exactly how to pronounce the names of the bride, groom, wedding party, and relatives of the couple. They need to know how to flow the day, keep the tempo up, keep the guests engaged, and create the atmosphere that the bride and groom are anticipating. If a DJ isn't fully invested they won't be able to execute on the big day. If they aren't ready to fully invest in the big day, they won't be a great DJ.
